About Us
500 Women Scientists is a non-profit organization with locations worldwide created to support women in science, and also give girls around the world access to paths in STEM. It focuses on bringing women together in small groups to bring change to the world, as opposed to having large gatherings.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Who We Are
500 Women Scientists Saratoga Pod is a group in Saratoga, CA created to promote women in science. We believe in the core values of our parent organization, 500 Women Scientists. We go to events throughout the area, as well as create events of our own.

THE MISSION OF 500 WOMEN SCIENTISTS IS TO SERVE SOCIETY BY MAKING SCIENCE OPEN, INCLUSIVE, AND ACCESSIBLE
To achieve our mission, we:
1. Empower women to grow to their full potential in science;
2. Increase scientific literacy through public engagement;
3. Advocate for science and equality.
